Notwithstanding a looming credit crunch and many essay deadlines, last November, twelve Assist alumni merrily got together in a cocktail bar in Soho, London. Sipping a few “La Cucaracha”s or beers, we – students from LSE, SOAS and Oxford, bankers and lawyers – met old friends and made new ones, exchanged numbers and business cards, reminisced old Assist days and promised to reunite soon in the new year!
